Storm

I have no idea what led me to draw fan art, much less of Storm from the X-Men. I don't think there is a character that I know less about or care less about, but when I let the pen wander, this is what came out, so I went with it. I do recall a time when she had a mohawk, I thought that was pretty cool but honestly don't even know why I know that. I was a massive X-Men fan in the early to late 90s but I always thought Storm was a throwaway character and that the team could have gotten along just fine without her. So anyways, here it is.

Whether you wanted it or not, it's here!!! The Art Friends blog is back in action and things just got real!!!

The Art Gods have called upon Dave and I, and locked us into an epic battle of art supremacy. Pitting two friends against each other and forcing them to call upon all of their art skills so see who can come out on top. There can only be one victor, to him goes honour, trophies, possibly even women...I recall a harem being mentioned. The loser will be handed a punishment that only the Gods can dish out...I'm not sure I want to know what it is, so I'm just going to have to win, and keep winning, lest I be fed to the lions, lions who have snakes for teeth and their teeth are wasps....you get the idea.

Chubby Gestures

Everyday I take a half hour before work and warm up with these little gesture drawings. No ref or anything, just quick and sketchy until I'm warmed up and ready to go. I'm gonna start posting these as I fill up each canvas, this is about a weeks worth minus a few clunkers :P
